REACH TRUCK DRIVER / GENERAL OPERATIVE - DUBLIN 22

We are recruiting a Warehouse Operative for our Distribution Centre in Baldonnell.

Job Purpose

The Reach Truck Driver / General Operative is responsible for the safe and efficient movement, storage, and retrieval of stock within the warehouse using a reach truck, as well as supporting general warehouse operations including picking, packing, loading, and stock control using WMOS system.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate a reach truck safely to load, unload, and move pallets within racking systems.
• Pick and pack orders accurately in line with warehouse management system (WMS) instructions.
• Load and unload delivery vehicles, ensuring goods are secured correctly for transport.
• Carry out general warehouse duties including sorting, labelling, stock rotation and general housekeeping.
• Complete loading manifests and stock documentation accurately.
• Conduct daily pre-use checks on the reach truck and report any faults immediately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working area in line with health and safety standards.
• Assist with stock takes and cycle counts as required.
• Work collaboratively with the wider warehouse team to meet daily targets and deadlines.
• Always follow all company health and safety policies and procedures.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Valid, in-date reach truck licence (essential).
• Previous experience operating a reach truck in a warehouse environment.
• Good understanding of manual handling and warehouse health and safety practices.
• Basic literacy and numeracy skills for completing paperwork and stock records.
• Experience using a warehouse management system (WMS) is desirable.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
• Flexibility to work different shifts, or weekends as required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to safely lift and move stock in line with manual handling guidelines.
• Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
• Able to remain on your feet and operate machinery for extended periods.
