Job Description

We are looking for a Customer Experience professional to join our Talley team in Santa Fe Springs, CA!

Summary:
The Distribution Customer Experience Sales role is responsible for providing national-level support to the sales organization as well as acting as the primary Rexel contact for Talley on electrical catalog maintenance and EDI transaction processing. Collaborate closely with Talley Sales Management across Broadband and sales to ensure product data accuracy and efficient order fulfilment.

What You'll Do:

 

  • Responsible for managing EDI transaction processing for the distribution centers, ensuring timely and accurate data exchanges with trading partners
  • Maintain and update the electrical catalogue to keep product information current and accurately mapped for EDI integration and sales use
  • Enter and process orders in Prelude, demonstrating practical proficiency with Prelude order-entry functions
  • Collaborate with vendors and Rexel leadership to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and provide operational support as needed
  • Work with Talley Sales Management (Broadband and Sales) to align catalog content and EDI processes with commercial objectives and requirements
  • Serve as the primary contact across the Talley organization to ensure service excellence for internal stakeholders in every department and for all external customers
  • Responsible for Quote and Order Entry on the electrical side of the business
  • Service current and new account to assure growth and customer satisfaction
  • Review Open Order Report daily

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • 1+ years of experience in EDI systems and transaction management in a distribution environment
  • 1+ years of experience with Prelude or similar order- entry/ERP system
  • 5+ years electrical distribution inside sales experience
  • High School or GED - Required

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Familiar with Microsoft Office as well as relevant ERP systems and Customer Relation Management Tools (CRM)
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills; comfortable liaising with vendors, sales management, and leadership
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on data accuracy and process improvement
  • Excellent organizational and time-management abilities

For the state of California only, the pay range is $60,800 to $76,000, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
