We are looking for a Financial Analyst to join our Rexel team in Dallas, TX!

Summary:
The Financial Analyst is responsible for the analysis, review, commentary, and reporting of the financial results as well as projections for Rexel USA. This may include budgeting, estimates, monthly, daily, or weekly reporting and analysis for headquarters, regions, or functions. Will also help to improve key metrics to drive profitability for the Company.

What You'll Do:

 

  • Monthly analysis of operational results vs. budget and prior year
  • Monthly preparation of summary results and Management reporting packages
  • Liaison to all Region Finance teams members regarding understanding of various aspects of their performance
  • Develop financial models and tools to perform data analysis
  • Coordinate and develop various cost center budgets and forecasts for Rexel USA headquarters' functional departments
  • Monitor and analyze variances and trends vs. budget and prior year
  • Review and summarize competitor performance as well as other key market indicators such as construction trends and other key economic data
  • Detailed analysis around monthly margin and expense categories
  • Support, research, and assist in special financial projects as assigned
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • no experience required
  • 4 Year / Bachelor's Degree - Required
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Proficiency using common software packages such as Oracle, Hyperion (TM1), Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Microsoft Outlook is required
  • Strong financial analysis skills working with all aspects of financial statements and internal reporting as well as an understanding of best practices in shared services
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively manage multiple priorities, tasks, and initiatives
  • Strong communication and presentation skills including ability to work across multiple businesses in multiple locations
  • Strong database management skills and ability to organize data in a clean form
  • High energy level, self-starter, proactive and results-oriented
  • Full openness and transparency with unquestioned integrity
