We believe that a healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body. With 1 in 4 people in the UK experiencing a mental health challenge each year, we’re dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where conversations about mental health are encouraged, and seeking help feels natural.

Throughout the year, we mark key awareness days and share inspiring personal stories to help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Our Healthy Mind Champions, Vicki, Miranda and Chloe are trained in Mental Health First Aid through Mental Health First Aid England & Scotland, giving them the tools to listen, offer guidance, and point you toward the right resources. While they’re not medical or mental health professionals, they’re here to make sure you never feel alone.

Chloe said: Being a Healthy Mind Champion is so rewarding. Knowing I can be there to support someone and help lighten the load makes a real difference to me. A lot of the time, just talking can make a huge difference, and the fact we have support services available internally through our Employee Assistance Programme means that we can offer the extra layer of support if needed.

At Rexel, we’re passionate about so much more than electrical wholesale. Our sense of community drives us, and we’re always coming up with new ways to work together and support great causes.

In 2025, we got behind men’s mental health by raising money for Movember and the response was incredible! Whether it was growing moustaches, shaving heads, or taking on personal challenges, our teams were all in.

The support across the country was amazing, and thanks to everyone’s hard work, we raised over £20,000! That put us in the top 10 teams supporting Movember, and we had the privilege of heading to an awards ceremony to celebrate.

But while we had plenty of fun, the message behind it was serious: men’s health and wellbeing matter. That’s why we also launched a new podcast series, Mind Over Chatter. In it, two of our team members sat down for an honest conversation about men’s health, tackling topics like mental health, breaking stigmas, and the importance of reaching out for support.

And our work now carries on throughout 2026 as we gear up to support Movember again, having already welcomed them for an educational talk on Testicular Cancer Awareness Month and a second podcast for Men’s Health Week. We also now have members of our teams acting as proud workplace ambassadors for Movember, dedicated to creating a real impact and getting those sometimes difficult conversations going.

To help keep our Supply Chain teams connected wherever they work, we introduced our own quarterly magazine-style newsletter.

Our Supply Chain team members play a vital role in keeping our business moving by supporting customers every day. Because many roles across our hubs are hands-on, it isn’t always easy to get online and catch up with the latest business updates and network news. So, we created a printed magazine that makes it simple to stay informed and feel part of what’s happening across the wider team. Every quarter, physical copies are delivered to each Hub and Distribution Centre so our teams can keep up to date with the latest news, without needing to find a laptop!
