Wellbeing support: Meet Our Healthy Mind Champions

At Rexel, we’re committed to creating a workplace where you can thrive, both mentally and physically. That’s why we’re proud to have our Healthy Mind Champions as part of our ongoing focus on health and wellbeing.

We believe that a healthy mind is just as important as a healthy body. With 1 in 4 people in the UK experiencing a mental health challenge each year, we’re dedicated to fostering a supportive environment where conversations about mental health are encouraged, and seeking help feels natural.

Throughout the year, we mark key awareness days and share inspiring personal stories to help break the stigma surrounding mental health.

Our Healthy Mind Champions, Vicki, Miranda and Chloe are trained in Mental Health First Aid through Mental Health First Aid England & Scotland, giving them the tools to listen, offer guidance, and point you toward the right resources. While they’re not medical or mental health professionals, they’re here to make sure you never feel alone.

Hear a bit from them about why they took on this role:

Chloe said: "Being a Healthy Mind Champion is so rewarding. Knowing I can be there to support someone and help lighten the load makes a real difference to me. A lot of the time, just talking can make a huge difference, and the fact we have support services available internally through our Employee Assistance Programme means that we can offer the extra layer of support if needed."
