We’re looking for an organised, proactive person to support our Fyshwick projects and trade team.

Working closely within our Projects team and with our Branch Manager, you’ll help prepare quotations, coordinate supplier information and keep customers informed from enquiry through to project delivery.

You don’t need to know every electrical or lighting product when you start. You do need a willingness to learn, confidence communicating with people and the drive to follow things through.


Job Description

  • Assist with preparing and submitting accurate project quotations within customer deadlines.
  • Respond promptly to customer and internal enquiries, keeping people updated on progress.
  • Request and follow up supplier pricing, product information and lead times.
  • Track outstanding quotations and information, flagging approaching deadlines or delays early.
  • Assist with project orders and delivery updates, working closely with purchasing and branch staff.
  • Maintain accurate quotation registers, customer information and project records.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, suppliers and colleagues.
  • Take ownership of assigned tasks, following up outstanding items and seeking help when needed.

Qualifications

  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn about electrical and lighting products, quotations and project coordination.
  • Strong organisation and attention to detail, with the ability to manage competing priorities.
  • Clear, friendly communication and confidence speaking with customers and suppliers by phone and email.
  • Initiative and reliable follow-through—you take action and keep people informed.
  • Confidence using Microsoft Outlook, Excel and other computer systems.
  • The ability to work through tasks independently once trained, while contributing to a busy team.
  • Customer service, administration or electrical industry experience would be an advantage, but is not essential.
