We’re looking for a proactive, technically confident Lighting Business Development Manager to grow our Lighting Design category across a defined territory. You’ll win new category business, nurture key customer relationships and hand over projects to our design team for ongoing management.
- Build and own a strong sales pipeline for your designated geographical area using market insight and customer engagement.
- Target existing customers to develop new Lighting Design projects.
- Present technical product solutions with clarity and confidence to customers, branches and internal stakeholders.
- Provide technical support and guidance to customers and branch colleagues.
- Communicate market trends, customer insights and opportunities back into the business.
- Promote our own benefits for Lighting Design solutions.
- Identify and develop strategic partner customers by geography and market segment.
- Encourage and promote training and CPD to customers to strengthen relationships and product adoption.
- Experience in the Lighting Designs arena and a working knowledge of Lighting Design software.
- Confident to talk to customer partners about Rexels offer plan and value add services.
- Strong technical understanding of Lighting products and installation requirements.
- Proven experience developing a sales pipeline and achieving area sales targets.
- Commercially focused with experience of managing CPM and supplier relationships.
- Confident presenter and communicator with the ability to influence both technical and commercial stakeholders.
- Self-motivated, organised and able to work collaboratively with branch networks and cross-functional teams.
