Job Description

We are looking for a Will Call Operations teammember to join our Talley team in Corona, CA!

Summary:
The Will Call Operations position performs functions strategic to enhance the Customer Experience (CX) specific to Will Call. Core responsibilities include providing a consistent CX emphasizing our Key Deliverables: Ease of Ordering, Product Availability, and Service Excellence. Enhancing the customer relationship by supporting their immediate and future needs. Will Call Operations will monitor customer wait time, order picking priorities, and customer checkout to ensure each customer leaves with a positive impression of Talley. Essential tasks include interfacing with Sales, Operations and our customers to prioritize and coordinate pick-up scheduling, facilitating return-to-stock of cancelled merchandise from Will-Call locations, and coordinating disposition of delinquent Will-Call orders.

What You'll Do:

 

  • Provide Quotes and Enter Orders accurately and utilize best practices for walk-in business, email, or phone
  • Proactively let customers know when orders are ready (email/phone)
  • Interface with Sales (as needed) to coordinate customer P/U scheduling
  • Utilize the Will Call calendar in Outlook and communicate priorities to Operations
  • Evaluate any remaining open orders at the time of customer pick-up and include if possible
  • Maintain standard protocol for 15-day Will Call pickup policy
  • Account for all printed (active) tickets weekly
  • Confirm/Close all signed tickets and scan them into DocuShare daily
  • Facilitate Will-Call Check-in and Check-out procedures utilizing sign-in sheets
  • Assist Operations in picking orders when there is downtime at the counter
  • Assist with customer checkout and loading materials into vehicles as needed
  • Escalating urgent Will-Call issues requiring higher-level attention
  • Responding to internal calls related to Will-Call service issues
  • Enter Quality Feedback Entries and assist with RGA’s
  • Organize and maintain the Will Call area including snacks
  • Displays strong work ethic and honesty and adheres to all company policies and procedures
  • Engages in work with a high sense of urgency, highly organized and detail-oriented
  • Be open to change and deal calmly and effectively with high-stress situations

Qualifications

What You'll Need

  • Forklift Certification is required
  • High School or GED - Preferred

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Product Knowledge for Carrier Contractor Applications
  • Strong organizational skills and time management skills
  • Sales and/or Customer Service experience preferred
  • Warehouse picking/packing experience preferred
  • Intermediate MS Excel, Word, and Outlook skills

For the Corona, CA. only, the base pay rate is from $19.06 to $24.00, depending upon qualifications, experience, and other considerations permitted by law.
