In this pivotal role, you will be the key connection between our organisation and our valued customers, managing existing accounts whilst developing new business opportunities to meet and exceed branch targets. You will deliver exceptional sales service through multiple channels—telephone, face-to-face, and email—building strong relationships and driving customer loyalty. This is an excellent opportunity for a customer-focused professional who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and is committed to achieving outstanding results. • Manage and nurture a live portfolio of existing customer accounts, ensuring consistent engagement and satisfaction • Proactively identify, target, and develop new business opportunities to expand your customer base and drive profitability

  • Develop subject matter expertise in our products and services, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor to customers • Support the wider branch team by assisting on the Trade Counter and warehouse operations to ensure timely order completion • Maintain accurate records and documentation using CRM systems, ensuring transparency and efficient communication across the organisation • Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices, support team objectives, and contribute to a positive, inclusive workplace culture

  • Strong organisational and time-keeping abilities, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently under pressure • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make informed business decisions • Resilience and adaptability, with a flexible approach to changing circumstances and customer needs **Desirable Experience:** • Proven experience in a competitive, customer-focused sales role where you have consistently achieved and exceeded sales targets
  • Experience managing customer portfolios and developing accounts from prospect to profitable relationship • Familiarity with CRM software and sales modelling tools • Background in account management, business development, or related sales disciplines • Experience in negotiation and closing techniques **Desirable Skills:** • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM platforms • Knowledge of upselling and cross-selling methodologies • Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities
  • Ability to develop and deliver product knowledge to customers **Education & Certifications:** • None required; we prioritise hiring based on behaviours, potential, and demonstrated capability rather than formal qualifications **Domain Expertise:** • Not essential; however, any existing knowledge of our industry or product sector would be advantageous and support your career progression within the role
