Finance Business Partner

As the Finance Business Partner for Logistics you’ll be the finance lead for our logistics P&Ls and inventory. You’ll translate financial data into practical insights, influence operational decision‑making, and partner with leadership and supporting teams to deliver sustainable performance improvements.

What you’ll do:

• Act as the primary finance partner to the Logistics and P&I teams, building strong relationships and supporting commercial decisions with clear, timely financial insight.
• Own the logistics P&Ls and inventory reporting—ensure accuracy, provide analysis and lead regular financial review meetings with stakeholders.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and KPI monitoring for the supply chain; drive alignment with the UK budget and Group metrics.
• Use data analytics to quickly identify performance trends, risks and opportunities, and communicate findings in a way that drives action.
• Support the Commercial Finance Director in strategy development and delivery across the UK Supply Chain.
• Champion continuous improvement initiatives: design, implement and monitor plans that improve productivity and financial outcomes.
• Take on ad‑hoc company‑wide projects and support cross‑functional workstreams as required.
• Participate in regular on‑site visits (at least once a week) to embed partnership with operational teams and promote excellence.

Ideally you will also benefit from having:

• A Financial qualification (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent).
• Strong commercial mindset with previous experience partnering with supply chain or logistics teams.
• Excellent analytical skills and proven ability to convert data into insightful recommendations.
• Confident presenter who can explain complex financial information to non‑financial stakeholders.
• Influential communicator who builds trust and drives results through collaboration and constructive challenge.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑moving environment and supporting change initiatives
