Rexel UK is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Social Media Executive to join our Marketing and Brand  team. You'll be at the heart of how we show up online, managing our presence across both our customer and employer brand channels helping to drive brand awareness and increase engagement.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow Rexel's social presence across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook, with a focus on brand awareness and driving measurable engagement.

  • Bring to life the new Rexel employer brand Instagram, from strategy to day-to-day content designed to showcase life at Rexel from the inside out.

  • Write sharp, on-brand copy tailored to each channel and audience.

  • Build and manage content calendars, keeping multiple stakeholders and deadlines on track.

  • Support campaigns and activations across partnerships, promotions, product launches and key moments in time.

What We’re Looking For:

  • Exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal), including strong editing and proofreading skills.

  • Demonstrate creativity, curiousness and inventiveness, by staying on top of social trends and bringing fresh creative ideas to life.

  • Where applicable, support paid social activity on Meta and LinkedIn (desirable but not essential)

  • Experience managing brand social media accounts across LinkedIn, Instagram, and Facebook

  • Experience using social listening and analytic tools
